Justice, Done?

One week left till we go to the polls!
But our heart's in our mouth, for a hole's
Just been cut in the cancerous throat
Of the man with the tie-breaking vote.
If His Honor's a goner, whose voice
Will preside and decide on our choice,
When we sue for the votes others steal?
Let us pray the Chief Justice will heal,
To determine our country's direction
And spare us an endless election.
